From shopping in the new town to strolling around the old town, going to the beach or climbing to the panoramic viewpoint, heading out for a meal or drinks or just people watching along the seafront 'Promenade des Anglais' - Nice has something for everyone.

CANNES
This once sleepy fishing village is now a very fashionable place to be seen on the Cote d'Azure, especially during the film festival.
Playground of the rich and famous, it offers a combination of glamour and charm where magnificent yachts lie in the harbour.

MONTE CARLO, MONACO
From the minute you step off the train onto the sweeping marble platforms you know you're in Monaco!
The old town is charming and offers great views over the marina and don't miss the changing of the guard at the palace. You can then walk along the famous Formula 1 grand prix street circuit, through the tunnel to gardens, fountains, casinos and every designer shop imaginable!

ANTIBES
Our closest coastal neighbour, and one of the oldest ports in the mediterranean, here you will find an old fort and a daily market. You can also try out canoeing, windsurfing, sailing or just stroll around the marina taking it all in.
3km to the west.




GRASSE
This beautiful old town in the mountains north of the campsite is the perfume capital of France where you can visit a factory for a tour or even try your hand at blending your own perfume. Festivals are held throughout the year ( see Events section)


VENCE & ST PAUL
This beautiful old hill town has tiny streets to explore and wonderful artistic finds to purchase.
Well worth a visit.












BIOT
The closest village to the campsite is up in the hills, quaint and accessible by a free bus service.
